My journey in the world of event and wedding planning began in the heart of hospitality, where I worked as waitstaff at a private golf club. It was there that I discovered my passion for food, beverage, and the overall experience of hospitality. The fast-paced, dynamic environment sparked something in me, and I realized that I wanted to dive deeper into this industry. In 2021, I decided to pursue my passion further by earning a Business Administration Diploma in Hospitality and Event Planning. To put my learning into practice, I completed my practicum with a well-respected wedding planner in Edmonton, Alberta. It was during this experience that I found my true calling: weddings. The intricate details, the personal stories behind each celebration, and the joy of bringing a couple’s vision to life left an indelible mark on me. To build on this newfound passion, I obtained my WPIC Certification through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada. Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of managing multiple aspects of complex weddings, with a special focus on creating memorable tented backyard events. This hands-on experience has honed my skills and deepened my love for curating exceptional celebrations.
